What It Does
The Microsoft Teams integration provides a dedicated CaseDocker Teams app with tabs, bots, and messaging extensions. Users can access case information, view documents, receive notifications, and execute workflows without leaving Teams.
Setup Steps
- Provide Graph/App Credentials
Share Azure AD app credentials or grant consent. The CaseDocker team will publish/configure the Teams app as needed—no store install required from your side.
- Configure App Permissions
Grant required permissions for the app to access Teams channels, messages, and user information.
- Set Up Authentication
Configure SSO authentication so users can seamlessly access CaseDocker from Teams without re-authentication.
- Add App to Channels
Add CaseDocker tabs to relevant Teams channels and configure which cases or information to display.
- Configure Bot Commands
Set up bot commands and messaging extensions for quick case lookups and actions from Teams chat.
Required Permissions
- Read/Write access to Teams channels and messages
- Display tabs and content within Teams
- Send notifications and bot messages
- Access user profile information for SSO
